Dr. Björn Hennig
Managing Director
Dr. Björn Hennig is the Managing Director and Solution Architect at avialytics GmbH and avialytics Inc., specializing in flight safety, data, and performance management. With a PhD in Operations Research and Data Science and a diploma in Industrial Engineering, he also holds an MSc in Safety and Accident Investigation (Air Transport) from Cranfield University, UK.
Dr. Hennig explores big data and AI-driven approaches to Safety Management, Crew Fatigue, and Evidence-Based Training Research. As a passionate pilot and reserve officer in the German Air Force, he brings deep industry expertise to his work. A member of ISASI and a frequent conference speaker, he is dedicated to advancing aviation safety through data-driven innovation.

Full Stack Engineer (External Partner)
Andreas Seiler is a seasoned fullstack web developer with extensive experience in designing and implementing interactive web applications for diverse industries, specializing in data-driven systems and user-centric solutions. Proficient in a variety of modern technologies, including the .NET Framework, JavaScript frameworks (especially Vue.JS), database development and data integration.
Norbert Kessler
Chief Technology Officer
CTO Norbert Keßler is an electrical engineer and studied at the University of Stuttgart with technical computer science being his major field of research. He has decades of experience in software development and consulting and is a specialist in the design, development and introduction of individual programming.

Petra is responsible for accounting, personnel administration and back office. She studied business administration while working. Her motto is: “Dreams don’t work unless you do”.
Olivia Silver
Marketing and Business Development
Olivia Silver served in the U.S. Army as an Intelligence Advisor and Systems Maintainer. She is currently a commercial pilot working as a flight instructor. For avialytics, she spearheads our Marketing and Business Development efforts.
Katrin Dreiseitel
Senior BI Consultant
The senior Business Intelligence consultant, Katrin Dreiseitel, has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Hochschule der Medien (Stuttgart Media University). She joined the team in 2011 and specializes in database development, data analysis, and reporting.
Axel Schulze
Full Stack Engineer and Project Manager
Axel is a dynamic Full Stack Engineer and Project Manager with a strong foundation in SQL, SQL Server, and data management. He has practical experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure, and specializes in front-end development with a focus on intuitive UI/UX design using Vue.js and other modern front-end technologies. Additionally, he is proficient in the .NET Framework and C#, enabling him to develop robust, scalable back-end solutions. Axel is passionate about building efficient, user-centric applications and managing projects that align technical solutions with business objectives, ensuring seamless delivery and impactful results.

Marius Krömer is a Data Consultant skilled in SQL, Business Intelligence, and data visualization. His passion for aviation is reflected in his Private Pilot License and PhD research in Operations Research at the University of Mannheim, focusing on Optimization models in Airline Scheduling (e.g., Schedule Design, Crew Scheduling, Fatigue).
